Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a skilled health technology professional to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical equipment and systems. You will deliver technical services, plan maintenance, and support installation and commissioning across a range of health technology assets.

The role requires strong communication with clinical staff and suppliers, data-driven decision making, and a commitment to quality improvement in a dynamic health environment.

Qualifications

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and deliver technical service.
• Expert level maintenance/repair, installation, commissioning and support of health tech equipment and networks.

Job description

To be an integral part of a team delivering technical services including repairs, planned maintenance and other technology support services to ensure the safety and effectiveness of electronic and/or mechanical health technology equipment and systems.

The essential requirements for this role are:

• Proven ability to apply independent judgment and initiative to effectively plan, schedule, coordinate and carry out technical service delivery.
• Proven expert level of knowledge and skill in the maintenance / repair, installation, commissioning and technical support of health technology equipment and associated equipment and networks.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively to influence a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members and managers.
• Proven ability to use information systems and software to manage, analyse and present data.
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
