Village Roadshow Limited, based at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, seeks a Senior Technical Officer to manage and deliver technical projects and asset changes across the lifecycle of attractions and infrastructure.

You will work with stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant outcomes, maintain documentation, and support testing, commissioning and handover of projects. This role requires an engineering qualification or equivalent experience and a hands-on,

Qualificações

• A relevant engineering, technical trade or equivalent qualification, or substantial industry experience.
• Experience delivering technical projects through planning, design, procurement, implementation, commissioning and handover.
• Knowledge of change management, risk assessment, design review, testing and commissioning processes.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, work instructions and reports.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, manuals, standards and manufacturer documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project, document and asset management systems.
• Experience within a theme park, entertainment, industrial, manufacturing or other safety-critical environment will be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Managing technical projects from planning through to implementation, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Maintaining accurate and well-organized project and asset documentation.
• Leading technical change activities, including risk assessments, design reviews, approvals, testing and commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, technical reports, training materials, toolbox talks and other maintenance documentation.
• Coordinating contractors, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Liaising with regulatory authorities, manufacturers, engineering consultants and other external parties.
• Providing technical advice, troubleshooting and project support.
• Participating in Health and Safety programs as directed.
• Undertaking other reasonable duties within your qualifications, skills and expertise.

The Opportunity

Ready to help shape the future of our attractions and infrastructure? As a Senior Technical Officer, you will manage and deliver technical projects and technical changes, ensuring safe, compliant and effective outcomes throughout the project and asset lifecycle.

Based at Warner Bros. Movie World, you'll work closely with stakeholders, contractors, consultants and suppliers while supporting the delivery of projects, technical documentation and asset change activities.

Key Responsibilities

You’re organised, technically minded and confident managing projects from start to finish. You’ll bring:
