Job summary

Coforge in Sydney is seeking a Technical Manager - GitHub Platform Uplift who will own the delivery of the uplift roadmap across platform, security, and engineering stakeholders. This senior, hands-on role combines roadmap ownership with hands-on GitHub Enterprise, DevSecOps, and CI/CD uplift capabilities.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise platform engineering, strong governance skills, and the ability to coordinate SMEs across cyber, identity, cloud, engineering, and vendor teams, while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of platform engineering experience in a regulated or enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to own a technical delivery stream end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Strong GitHub Enterprise administration experience with governance and security features.
• Experience supporting large-scale GitHub migrations and adoption activities.
• Strong CI/CD engineering experience with GitHub Actions and secure runner patterns.
• Practical DevSecOps experience across code security and vulnerability management.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Strong automation skills with IaC and scripting.
• Excellent communication for executive updates and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the GitHub uplift roadmap across stakeholders.
• Balance delivery leadership with hands-on platform uplift work.
