Cuscal is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the GitHub Platform Uplift within the Engineering Practice. You will drive the GitHub Enterprise roadmap, ensuring secure, scalable platform delivery while staying hands-on with platform engineering and CI/CD capabilities.

The role focuses on governance, tooling modernization, and secure automation across engineering, cloud, and identity teams, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management and regulatory consideration.

We're looking for a Technical Manager - GitHub Platform Uplift to lead the delivery of our GitHub Enterprise roadmap while remaining hands-on with platform engineering, DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities. This role combines delivery leadership with technical execution, offering the opportunity to influence engineering standards and platform capabilities across the organisation.

You'll also make an impact by:

• Leading the GitHub platform uplift roadmap, managing stakeholders, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes across engineering, cloud, cyber and identity teams.
• Driving GitHub Enterprise administration, migration activities and adoption across engineering teams.
• Enhancing DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities through secure automation, governance and operational readiness practices.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

• Extensive platform engineering experience within enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong experience administering GitHub Enterprise, including repository governance, access controls and security features.
• Strong CI/CD engineering expertise with GitHub Actions, automation and secure delivery practices.
• Practical DevSecOps knowledge spanning code security, secrets management, container security and policy enforcement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Managed Users, SAML SSO or SCIM provisioning.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, GitOps tooling and cloud-native platform engineering.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, APRA CPS 234 or broader financial services regulatory environments.
• GitHub, AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
