Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety QLD – Edmonton QLD is seeking a Senior Team Leader to provide leadership to a team of professional and operational staff delivering child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework and case management, in line with legislation and practice guidelines.

The role emphasises a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to achieve high-quality outcomes for children, young people, families and communities

Responsibilities

• Leadership to and management of a team of professional and operational staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework and case management, in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines.
• Delivery of high-quality child protection services to children, young people, families and communities, through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Senior Team Leaders provide leadership to and management of a team of professional and operational staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality child protection services that includes assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines to children, young people, families and communities serviced by the workgroup. This is achieved by a collaborative integrated multi-disciplinary team (that may include representation from other agencies).
