Job summary

ACOS Personnel is seeking a Senior Systems & Technology Engineer to own the day-to-day IT environment for a client in Australia. You will support ~100 users across office, warehouse and remote locations, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Server, networking and cybersecurity.

Reporting to the MD and CFO, you will work in a small internal IT team, solving complex issues and implementing lasting solutions with a hands-on, autonomous approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering or senior technical support.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and SharePoint.
• Hands-on Intune, MDM and endpoint management experience.
• Windows Server, virtualization and infrastructure administration.
• Strong networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi and firewalls.
• Practical experience with backups, disaster recovery and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and assess multiple solutions.
• Hands-on experience in MSP/ SME, multi-site and fast-paced environments.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT environment and provide hands-on engineering support.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and identify root causes.
• Maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and SharePoint services.
• Manage Intune, MDM and endpoint management.
• Oversee networking, VPNs, DNS/DHCP and security controls.
• Implement improvements and automation to increase reliability.
