Job summary

Orro Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own and mature the internal IT platforms that power our business. Youll lead design-to-delivery initiatives across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure, acting as the senior escalation point and guiding the team toward secure, reliable and well-documented platforms.

Youll work with Security, Cloud, Network and Infra teams in a cloud-first environment, shaping standards, automation and lifecycle improvements while occasionally stepping

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering with hands-on depth across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure.
• Experience with identity and access management including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and least privilege.
• Strong endpoint management across Intune, Windows 10/11, Autopilot and security baselines.
• End-to-end ownership of production platforms from design to handover with clear risk communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature core Internal IT platforms across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex identity, endpoint, cloud, access and platform issues.
• Lead technical improvements, lifecycle initiatives and security uplift from design to handover.
• Strengthen identity, access and endpoint practices including CA, MFA and least privilege controls.
• Administer and mature Azure and hybrid services covering VMs, storage and recovery readiness.
• Use scripting and automation to standardise workflows and lift reliability.
• Mentor Systems Engineers and Systems Administrators and maintain useful runbooks and audit evidence.
