Job summary

Net Solutions, a NSW-based MSP, seeks a Senior Systems Consultant to deliver advanced technical support, design, and project delivery across client environments.

You will design and support Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networking, and cybersecurity solutions, while leading infrastructure, cloud, security and migration initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong MSP or IT consulting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support and escalation.

The Senior Systems Consultant provides advanced technical support, consulting, solution design, and project delivery across MSP client environments. Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support and technical escalation.
• Design, implement and support Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networking and cybersecurity solutions.
• Manage server infrastructure, backups and disaster recovery, including Veeam.
• Configure and support Fortinet firewalls, VPNs and network security.
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, security and migration projects.
• Utilise AI and automation to improve efficiency, monitoring and service delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, cloud, networking, backup and security issues.
• Conduct client technology reviews and provide practical recommendations.
• Maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.

Experience

• Strong MSP or IT consulting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server knowledge.
• Experience with Veeam, Fortinet, networking and cybersecurity.
• Experience delivering IT projects and migrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and client-facing skills.
• PowerShell, automation and AI experience desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
