Job summary

Talenza seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to coordinate vulnerability remediation and the ongoing security and reliability of our bank's critical systems in Sydney. The role blends hands-on support with technical coordination across Cyber Security, infrastructure engineers and vendors.

The 6-month contract focuses on managing remediation timelines, system updates, change control, and reporting on risk and performance for key enterprise applications in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering critical enterprise systems and applications.
• Exposure to vulnerability remediation, security patching or application lifecycle management.
• The ability to coordinate technical work across multiple engineering teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security patching across critical systems and applications.
• Work closely with Cyber Security, infrastructure engineers, application owners, delivery partners and vendors.
• Track vulnerabilities through to resolution, manage dependencies and ensure remediation timeframes are met.
• Support application configuration, administration and production troubleshooting.
• Coordinate system upgrades, software releases, patches and version updates.
• Help maintain the security, availability, performance and currency of the bank's technology platforms.
• Support change management and the delivery of technical projects.
• Monitor service performance and provide reporting, recommendations and technical guidance.
• Improve processes, standards and controls across system maintenance and support.
