Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Analyst to drive vulnerability and posture management across the Bank’s technology environment. You will lead a team of analysts, shape strategy, and coordinate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Identity, and Security Architecture to reduce cyber risk and strengthen resilience.

The role requires senior security leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and hands-on experience with Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7 and Microsoft security tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in cyber security or IT; relevant professional experience considered
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities in large environments
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms and security controls

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management and security posture initiatives across enterprise tech environments.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation governance and executive reporting.
• Drive risk-based prioritisation for remediation efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor Cyber Security Analysts and guide strategic security posture initiatives.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control assurance activities.
