Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment is assisting a leading banking organization in Sydney's CBD with a 6‑month contract for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst. The role is hybrid, based in Sydney, with a daily rate of AUD 1000–1100.

You will own vulnerability management, perform security posture reviews, monitor compliance, and drive risk reduction initiatives across security, risk and infrastructure teams. Strong experience with Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7 and certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CRISC/GIAC are

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join a leading banking organization and play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience across a complex enterprise environment.

You will be responsible for vulnerability management, security posture assessments, compliance monitoring, and cyber risk reduction initiatives. Working closely with security, infrastructure, cloud and risk teams, you will help identify, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities while driving continuous improvements across the organisation's security posture.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct vulnerability assessments and security posture reviews.

Support risk-based vulnerability prioritisation and remediation activities. Drive security hardening and secure configuration initiatives. Assess cyber risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Support audit, compliance and assurance activities.

Develop reporting, metrics and insights to improve risk visibility.

Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management capabilities.

Required Experience: Strong experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7. Experience managing vulnerabilities within large enterprise environments. Knowledge of Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks. Exposure to attack surface management or exposure management practices. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience working within regulated environments.

Highly Regarded

Microsoft Defender and Sentinel experience.

CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC or similar certifications.

Financial services or banking experience.
