Job summary

Talenza is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to coordinate security, maintenance and improvement of critical enterprise systems for a banking client in Sydney.

The role blends technical coordination with hands-on system support, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle planning, working with Cyber Security, engineers, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and robust controls.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering critical enterprise systems and applications.
• Exposure to vulnerability remediation, security patching or application lifecycle management.
• Ability to coordinate technical work across multiple engineering teams and vendors.
• Working understanding of databases, Active Directory, authentication and access-control principles.
• Experience working within structured change, incident and service-management environments.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with the confidence to drive actions through to completion.
• Technical capability to understand remediation plans, identify risks and challenge engineering teams when required.
• Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment would be highly regarded.
• Senior Systems Analyst or equivalent with ability to take ownership of technical coordination

• Help maintain the security, availability, performance and currency of the bank's technology platforms.
• Support change management and the delivery of technical projects.
• Monitor service performance and provide reporting, recommendations and technical guidance.
• Improve processes, standards and controls across system maintenance and support.

Senior Systems Analyst - Vulnerability Remediation

6-month day rate contract | Sydney | Critical banking systems

We're looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to help coordinate the ongoing security, maintenance and improvement of a bank's critical systems and applications.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst position. It is a technical operations role suited to someone who understands enterprise applications, production support and vulnerability management, but is equally comfortable coordinating engineers, Cyber Security teams, vendors and business stakeholders.

The role will be approximately 60% technical coordination, 25% hands-on systems and application support, and 15% technical analysis, reporting and lifecycle planning.
