Job summary

Townsville City Council is seeking a Systems Analyst to deliver effective systems and database analysis for a large Council IT environment. You will be hands-on with support, troubleshooting, releases, and vendor management, while contributing to new software design and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive IT qualifications, extensive experience with TechnologyOne and Chris21, strong data engineering skills, and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and minimum 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in the administration and support of on-premises TechnologyOne applications, including ECM, CES, CiA and P&R, with maintenance tasks.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL development, and end-to-end data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems and database analysis in development and operations of IT systems.
• Handle application support, troubleshooting, releases and vendor management.
• Contribute to selection and design of new system software.
