Job summary

Leidos Australia seeks an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to support a Federal Intelligence Agency contract in Alice Springs, AUS. You will provide Tier 2 support for a large Enterprise environment spanning Windows and Linux, with hybrid infrastructure and multiple security enclaves.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph, extensive Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Windows/Linux administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant IT experience or Masters with 6+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Active Directory Administration.
• DNS, DHCP, LDAP.
• Windows 10/Server 2012/2016 experience.
• Linux operating system experience.
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, NETS).

Responsibilities

• System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVD and physical.
• Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance.
• Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience.
• Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.
• Provide remote end user desktop support.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with short- and long-term solutions.
• Responds to escalated service desk requests.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and teams.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

• System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVD and physical

• Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
• Provide remote end user desktop support

• Responds to escalated service desk/team requests.
• Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

Clearance Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph with current investigation within the last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters Degree and 6+ years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
• Active Directory Administration
• DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
• Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016,
• Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer
• Linux Operating system
• Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
• ITIL v3 or higher
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
• Hardware/Software Troubleshooting
• Microsoft Windows System Administration

Preferred Qualifications
