Job summary

Epic IT, a Perth-based MSP, seeks an experienced Level 3 System Administrator to tackle complex IT challenges across client environments. This hands-on role also offers mentoring responsibilities and opportunities to lead in a fast-paced MSP setting.

You will manage servers, networking, security, and cloud services while ensuring rapid issue resolution and exceptional client communication. Team leadership, when present, adds strategic value to project handovers and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with server management, AD, firewalls and networking.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud security best practices.
• Analytical thinker with focus on rapid issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior point of contact for high-severity IT issues and escalations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Communicate clearly with clients about escalations and next steps.
• Provide expert-level support for servers, networking, security and cloud services (M365/Azure/AWS).
• Handle Level 2/3 escalations following ITIL and SLAs.
• Monitor client infrastructure with RMM tools to prevent downtime.
• Bridge solutions and service desk teams for smooth handovers.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.
