Epic IT in North Perth is seeking a Level 3 System Administrator to tackle high-severity infrastructure challenges across diverse client environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The role is hands-on with opportunities for team leadership or mentorship; you will perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and escalation management using ITIL practices.

• Experience with server management, networking, and security in varied environments.
• Strong Cloud knowledge with Microsoft 365, Azure, and security best practices.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues quickly and implement preventive solutions.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advanced troubleshooting and escalation management for high severity issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Communicate with clients on escalations with clear updates and steps.
• Provide expert system administration across servers, networking, security and cloud services.
• Handle Tier 2/3 escalations per ITIL and SLAs.
• Monitor client infrastructure using RMM tools to prevent downtime.
• Act as bridge between solutions and service desk for handovers.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.
