Job summary

Regis Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer (Surface Mining) to join the Open Pit Technical Services team. You will lead mine planning and optimisation across open pit operations, ensuring plans are practical, achievable and aligned with production targets.

You will work with operational and contractor teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective mining outcomes while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in senior technical leadership in open pit mining.
• Strong knowledge of open pit mine design and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of short and medium term mine plans for safe production.
• Manage rolling mine plans, schedules and forecasts to maximise value.
• Provide technical leadership to Mining Engineers and Graduates.
