Job summary

Regis Resources is looking for a Mining Engineer (Open Pit) to join the team at their Duketon operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will provide mine planning, technical support, and operational guidance to ensure safe and efficient production outcomes.

The position offers a FIFO work schedule from Perth and involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience in open pit mining and proficiency in mining software.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, ideally within hard rock gold operations.
• Working knowledge of geotechnical and hydrogeological considerations in mine planning.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update rolling 3-month mine schedules.
• Ensure optimisation of grade and production.
• Monitor contractor performance against plan.
• Review and optimise drill and blast designs.
