Superior Care Solutions is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our support teams, mentor newer staff, and provide direct, high-quality care to participants in our homes and programs.

You will balance hands-on support with coaching to improve culture, quality, and consistency. The role suits experienced carers who want more responsibility without full management duties, with ongoing professional development and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years direct disability support experience.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior staff.
• Strong communication, empathy and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct participant support as a core duty.
• Mentor newer Support Workers and provide on-shift guidance.
• Conduct on-the-job coaching and onboarding shadow shifts.
• Deliver training sessions when required and support complex care needs.
• Maintain documentation, compliance and safety standards.
• Support onboarding and induction for new staff and contribute to care plans.
