Mpower is seeking an experienced Lead Support Worker to lead shifts within our Out of Home Care program and Residential Care homes, supporting children and young people to thrive in a safe, trauma-informed environment. You'll guide Support Workers, model best practice, manage incidents, and contribute to care plans across a 24/7 roster, including sleepovers and weekends.

Formación

• Experience in residential/out-of-home care or youth work.
• Strong trauma-informed and therapeutic approach understanding.
• Ability to lead shifts, guide workers and make decisions in dynamic environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; maintain accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shifts within a residential care setting.
• Support children and young people in Out of Home Care homes.
• Guide, direct and support other Support Workers.
• Manage incidents and respond to behaviours of concern.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
• Support care plan implementation and therapeutic frameworks.
• Act as escalation point during shifts.
• Promote a safe, stable and nurturing home environment.
