Ability to Achieve is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker in Kaleen, ACT. This casual position offers flexibility while delivering high-quality support to individuals with disabilities and aged care needs.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate rostering, and ensure adherence to care standards, safeguarding, and person-centred support. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the broader care network while maintaining documentation and promoting client

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in aged care, disability support, or related community services.
• Experience in a senior or supervisory role; ability to mentor other staff.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and background check.
• Knowledge of disability support principles, aged care standards, and relevant legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate scheduling and rostering for the team.
• Coach and mentor Support Workers.
• Facilitate inductions and onboarding for new staff.
• Support implementation of team processes and procedures.
• Provide direct personal care and daily living support to clients.
• Develop individualised support plans with clients, families, and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Promote client independence and community engagement.
