Claro Aged Care And Disability Services is seeking a Senior Support Worker to provide leadership and hands-on support across two SIL homes in Traralgon and Morwell. You will work with clients with complex needs, delivering person-centred care and coordinating with families and clinicians.

Senior Support Worker (Split Role Across Two SIL Homes Traralgon / Morwell)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Support Worker to provide leadership and hands‑on support across two Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision‑making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

Week 1

• Tuesday 0700 - 14.30
• Wednesday 0700 - 1600
• Thursday 0700 - 1430
• Friday 0700 - 1000
• Saturday 0700 - 1600

Week 2

• Tuesdays 0700 - 1430
• Thursday 1000 - 1900
• Sunday 0700 - 1600
