Job summary

Achieve Australia is seeking a Senior Support Worker to deliver practice leadership, promote active and individual support, and oversee the implementation of Individual Support Plans for clients with complex needs. The role supports clients to develop skills, maximise independence, and participate in the community, with shifts largely in the afternoon and a flexible 24-hour roster.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience with complex behavioural support needs, a current NSW Driver’s Licence,

Qualifications

• Experience working with participants with complex behavioural support needs.
• Knowledge of issues affecting people with disability and their families.
• Certificate III in Disability or equivalent.
• Current NSW Drivers’ License.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Promote and role-model delivery of support aligned with Individual Support Plans.
• Provide coaching and feedback to frontline staff on client care.
• Assist in implementing Individual Support Plans and gathering data to identify issues.
• Support clients to maximise independence and participate in community activities.
