Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Housing Officer, Student Accommodation to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Camden Student Accommodation portfolio, including Nepean Hall, Nepean Lodge and Nepean Cottages, with oversight of the Kingswood complex as required.

You will drive occupancy, revenue performance, maintenance coordination and stakeholder engagement, ensuring high service standards and a safe, welcoming environment for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• First Aid certificate.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
• Experience leading sites in student accommodation or facilities.
• Knowledge of real estate principles and tenancy laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Camden Student Accommodation operations and related sites.
• Monitor occupancy, reservations, revenue and service delivery.
• Coordinate applications, bookings, peak periods and emergency accommodation.
• Manage maintenance, refurbishment and asset lifecycle with contractors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, journal processing and financial reporting.
• Supervise site-based staff and coordinate with providers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accommodation operations.
