Job summary

Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney is seeking an Associate Director/Director to originate, structure and execute sophisticated structured finance solutions for Corporate & Institutional Banking clients. You will lead the end-to-end process across securitisation, asset-based finance and receivables finance, building trusted relationships with clients, investors and banks.

The role emphasises governance, risk management and mentoring team members while advancing the Structured Finance capability

Qualifications

• Experience originating, structuring and executing structured finance or corporate finance transactions.
• Strong understanding of financing structures such as securitisation, asset-based finance and receivables finance.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, investors, banks and internal stakeholders at senior levels.
• Sound commercial judgement with the ability to assess risk, influence decision-making and deliver balanced customer outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to driving strong results.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure and execute complex structured finance transactions.
• Lead end-to-end origination, execution and governance of transactions.
• Manage a diverse portfolio with commercial outcomes and risk controls.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to capability building within Structured Finance.
• Build relationships with clients, investors and banks at senior levels.
