Job summary

Robert Bird Group (RBG), a member of the SJ Group, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team in Adelaide. You will provide specialist staged analysis, construction methodology and temporary works design for major projects across Adelaide and South Australia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years structural engineering experience.
• Experience with temporary works design preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare technical reports to a standard requiring minimal correction.

Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of temporary works and impacts on permanent works.
• Liaise with clients alongside Project Directors and Associates.
• Manage project resources in coordination with Project Directors.
• Deliver current and future projects while maintaining quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure coordination.
