Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director – Structural Engineer (NSQEP) to lead structural and seismic design on defence, research and nuclear projects in Adelaide. You will oversee complex analyses and ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety requirements while mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

15+ years in structural engineering with seismic and safety‑critical projects
Nuclear suitability qualifications or regulated nuclear environment experience
Chartered Engineer and professional accreditation or equivalent

Responsibilities

Lead structural and seismic design of complex buildings and safety‑critical facilities
Provide NSQEP governance and regulatory compliance oversight
Mentor engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Support nuclear safety cases and regulatory submissions
Review deliverables across project stages
