Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director – Structural Engineer (NSQEP) to lead technical aspects of complex projects in the defence, research, and nuclear sectors. This position is based in Adelaide but considers suitable candidates for relocation.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, especially in seismic and safety-critical infrastructure, alongside relevant qualifications. AECOM offers flexible arrangements, professional development, and a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in structural engineering, especially seismic structures.
• Experience as a Nuclear Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (NSQEP).
• Strong knowledge of seismic, nuclear, and structural design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and seismic design for complex buildings.
• Provide technical leadership as NSQEP.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams.
