Job summary

Lycopodium Limited, with a Perth-based team, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design for mineral processing projects. You will engage with clients, guide the design and drafting process, and ensure compliance with quality standards across study and detailed design phases.

You will mentor engineers and contribute to the delivery of large, multi-disciplinary projects, while maintaining rigorous attention to design integrity and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years post graduate experience in structural design for mineral processing plants.
• Experience coordinating with clients on design and drafting issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid knowledge of steel and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering analysis and design for foundation, concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare, review and check engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work.
• Work closely with clients through the project lifecycle to deliver value within project performance criteria.
• Mentor engineers and drafting staff through design and commissioning phases.
• Ensure technical solutions meet design review processes and quality requirements.
• Monitor progress and performance of project design teams and provide feedback and support.
