Job summary

Aurecon invites a Senior Engineer to join our Industrial Structures team in Perth. You will deliver structural analysis and design for industrial steel and concrete facilities, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide constructability input throughout projects.

You will use SpaceGass and Strand7, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit, to develop models, calculations and sketches while supporting drafting and fabrication teams to achieve safe, buildable outcomes in mining and process

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with Chartership progression viewed favourably.
• Experience designing industrial facilities including mining and process plants.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and structural design codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural analysis and design for industrial steel and concrete structures.
• Design foundations and support arrangements with geotechnical input.
• Produce calculations, design reports, specs and sketches; support drafting.
• Use SpaceGass and Strand7 to develop and check models.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, mechanical, piping and electrical teams.
• Support constructability and Safety in Design through reviews and risk workshops.
• Provide construction support, including RFIs and site input as needed.
