Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Brisbane within the Industrial Structures team. You will deliver innovative structural solutions, lead design packages, and own delivery while mentoring junior staff.

Based in Brisbane, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geographies, engage with clients to define scopes, and drive practical outcomes that strengthen communities and infrastructure. This role offers growth within a global engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications and experience in Structural Engineering including RPEQ.
• Experience in mining, resources or heavy industrial infrastructure would be highly regarded.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as Spacegass, FEA (Strand 7/ANSYS), Parametric Modelling (Rhino/Grasshopper), 3D model interrogation (Navisworks/ACC).
• A track record of taking ownership and delivering practical, impactful outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer in our Industrial Structures team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
