Job summary

TTW in Sydney seeks an Associate-level Team Leader to guide project teams and implement TTW's strategic plan. You will manage development, workforce planning and client relationships while identifying sales opportunities for future clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions across major projects in a collaborative, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineering Australia.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering design within a consulting environment.
• Knowledge of BCA requirements and relevant Australian standards.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams, consultants and clients.
• Strong prioritisation and time/budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a project leader reporting directly to a director on major projects.
• Manage medium to large scale projects including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, scheduling, resourcing, deadlines and budgets.
• Develop, manage, mentor and train team members.
• Ensure delivery of projects with high client service levels and quality to secure repeat work while meet program and profit targets.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to devise practical, economical solutions.
• Manage technical and contractual aspects to ensure compliance with legal requirements and TTW policies.
• Influence and negotiate professional relationships with clients, authorities and external stakeholders.
