Job summary

Lion is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join the Strategy team in Sydney, shaping long-term growth decisions across Australia and New Zealand. You will work with senior leaders across Lion, Kirin and external partners to explore opportunities, build the commercial case, and translate thinking into a clear action plan.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, financial acumen and the ability to influence at the executive level across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic and structured problem-solving capability.
• Commercial and financial acumen with an ability to create value.
• Experience in a complex business environment, preferably FMCG.
• Exposure to Finance or Supply Chain is valuable.
• Ability to connect different parts of a business and spot opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Explore medium and long-term growth and performance opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
• Lead the discovery and definition of complex strategic projects.
• Build business cases assessing value, investment, risk and trade-offs.
• Explore future scenarios and challenge assumptions to strengthen decisions.
• Connect opportunities and capabilities across Lion, Kirin and external partners.
• Turn strategic choices into clear priorities, roadmaps and actions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Insights and Planning.
