Job summary

DP World is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement across DP World Oceania and drive the function’s growth and maturity. You will partner with business leaders, project teams and the wider Procurement team to uncover opportunities, strengthen governance and shape a scalable operating model across operations and corporate functions.

You will influence senior stakeholders, deliver sustainable savings and coach the procurement team to build capability in sourcing,

Qualifications

10+ years in procurement, commercial management or supply chain with strategic sourcing experience.
Proven track record turning tenders and supplier relationships into cost savings.
Strong governance, compliance and risk management background.
Experience in logistics, ports, warehousing, infrastructure or asset-heavy industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of the Oceania Procurement Strategy and growth initiatives.
Lead category management, strategic sourcing and major tenders/RFPs/RFQs.
Lead commercial negotiations, balancing cost, quality, service, risk and total cost of ownership.
Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor supplier performance against contracts, milestones and SLAs, resolving issues as needed.
Identify and deliver sustainable procurement savings, contributing to the annual target.
Collaborate with Finance to validate and track savings.
Provide leadership and coaching to the Procurement team.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, commercially focused procurement culture.
Ensure procurement activity adheres to policy and escalate risks or non-compliance.
