Job summary

ODPP in Sydney is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to shape procurement practices across the organisation. You will provide strategic advice, manage tender and contract activities, ensure compliance and support business areas through every stage of the procurement process.

You will work with executives and stakeholders to influence decisions, improve outcomes and strengthen financial stewardship, with a focus on risk management and value-for-money.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management within a complex organisation.
• Sound knowledge of NSW Government procurement frameworks, principles and contemporary practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in stakeholder engagement with practical advice.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, procurement, commerce or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic procurement advice and support to business areas and leaders across the ODPP.
• Lead and manage tendering, contract administration and procurement activities in line with NSW Government requirements.
• Ensure procurement compliance, effective risk management and value-for-money outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to support informed decision-making and strong financial stewardship.
• Deliver procurement reporting and contribute to projects that improve organisational outcomes and services.
