Job summary

Flex, a NYC-based FinTech, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the team’s technical roadmap and drive architectural decisions across APIs, SDKs, and web experiences. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner and Customer Success to ensure the technological strategy supports the business goals and scales with growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in technical leadership.
• Experience managing a globally distributed team.
• Proven track record delivering multiple products end-to-end on time.
• Ability to align with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and improving code quality.
• Experience in FinTech and familiarity with payment rails.
• Experience building integrations with external partners and working with sales.
• Experience on AWS cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical roadmap across APIs, SDKs, and web experiences.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner and Customer Success teams.
