Job summary

Upsun, the software factory for AI-human workflows, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to evolve our cloud platform across multi-cloud environments. You will own reliability, scale automation, and drive observability standards for global users.

You will partner with engineering and product teams, design IaC pipelines with Terraform/Ansible, and lead incident response. This role values autonomy, strong Linux mastery, and proactive improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, or DevOps with production-scale platforms.
• Proficient in Go or Python to build automation tools and SRE components.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and performance profiling.
• Expertise with IaC and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack).
• Strong ownership mindset, architectural judgment, and proactive problem solving.
• Collaborative communication and cross-functional alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability and observability strategy with actionable SLIs/SLOs and robust monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows using Terraform and Ansible across cloud providers.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure, zero-downtime releases.
• Lead incident response, blameless post-mortems, and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with product and software teams to embed SRE practices in roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve platform stability and performance.
• Follow a 4-week rotation balancing engineering and operations work.
