The Lakes Hotel is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the Knots Kitchen team in a full-time capacity. You will work closely with the Head Chef to lead day-to-day kitchen operations across Knots Kitchen and hotel functions, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation and service.

As a key leader, you will coordinate preparation, mentor staff, manage stock and costs, and take charge in the Head Chef's absence.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Strong leadership to manage a brigade and develop staff.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, functions or events environment.
• Ability to coordinate restaurant and function requirements under pressure.
• Strong understanding of food quality, presentation, food safety and kitchen operations.
• Experience with ordering, stock control, waste reduction and food cost management.
• Full Australian working rights; sponsorship is not available.
