The Blue Mountain Hotel is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a high-volume bistro and busy function operations, backed by a skilled kitchen brigade. You’ll drive food quality, manage daily dining and events, and work with the Venue Manager to ensure great pub classics hit the pass every service.

This hands-on leadership role requires trade cook qualifications and food safety certification, plus the ability to mentor a team and run safe, profitable operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.
• Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications.
• Experience leading a kitchen team and driving high-volume service.

Responsabilités

• Lead the kitchen on the pass while maintaining safety and profitability.
• Manage daily dining and major events in a high-volume venue.
• Mentor and develop the kitchen brigade and coordinate with FOH.
