Job summary

Vue Group seeks a talented Sommelier for Vue de Monde, Melbourne, to enhance our esteemed wine program. Report to Restaurant Manager and Head Sommelier; responsibilities include managing the wine cellar and sharing expert knowledge with guests while delivering outstanding service.

The ideal candidate will have proven sommelier experience in a high-end setting, strong customer service, diverse wine knowledge, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sommelier role, ideally in a hatted or Michelin-starred setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Diverse international and local wine knowledge.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organising the extensive wine cellar and extend guest knowledge on international and local wines.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and wine recommendations.
