Job summary

Maha Restaurant in Melbourne's CBD, part of the Delia Group, seeks an aspiring Sommelier to join our award-winning wine program. With a two-year minimum experience, you will contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting, delivering exceptional guest service and wine recommendations.

You will manage wine list updates, assist in cellar maintenance, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with the beverage team to grow our reputation for world-class wine and Middle Eastern-inspired modern

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Hold WSET or CMS qualifications.
• Knowledge of Australian and international wine markets.
• Willingness to stay current with industry trends and products.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow the wine program for Maha Restaurant.
• Assist in cellar maintenance and wine list updates.
• Mentor junior wine team members and share knowledge with service staff.
• Provide exceptional guest wine recommendations and service.
