Job summary

Sumo Logic, a leading cloud-native security and observability platform, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for ANZ accounts. You will partner with account teams to understand challenges and present technical demonstrations, POVs, and validated solutions that meet client requirements.

You will work across product management and engineering to shape solutions, mentor customers, and drive value through Proof of Value engagements while navigating a dynamic startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MS preferred.
• 4+ years in Solutions Engineer/related roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of security products and threats (IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with SaaS multi-tenant architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer challenges and articulate Sumo Logic’s value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and credibility.
• Understand and orchestrate all phases of the sales cycle, including leading technical validations in the Proof of Value phase.
• Engage with executives down to developers and Site Reliability Engineers.
• Deliver product and technical demonstrations of the Sumo Logic service.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to improve the service based on customer feedback.
