Job summary

Zepto is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in Australia to join a remote-first team. You will lead technical pre-sales, design end-to-end payment solutions, and run proofs of concept, influencing deals and customer outcomes.

You will translate complex payments and API concepts for CTOs, CFOs, and engineers, while collaborating with sales, product, and delivery to ensure a successful go-live.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering or architecture.
• Strong payments domain experience (NPP/PayTo/PayID a plus).
• Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences and responding to tenders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pre-sales activities, from discovery to signed deal and handover.
• Architect payments solutions across API and product suites; address merchant constraints.
• Run technical workshops and demos for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own RFP/RFI/tender content, partnering on positioning and differentiation.
• Be the technical voice in the sales cycle, handling APIs, integration patterns and security.
• Prototype sandbox integrations to prove feasibility before go-live.
• Bridge sales and product, feeding merchant requirements into the roadmap.
• Support smooth delivery handover and successful go-live.
