Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams delivering software across autonomy, simulation, data processing, and off-board control within our maritime and defense platforms.

You will own end-to-end software outcomes for an integrated product family, guiding architecture, development, testing, and lifecycle management while coordinating across functions to meet ambitious timelines and customer needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience in a senior management position within a high performing technology organization.
Extensive experience as a Software Engineer across multiple domains/technologies.
Ability to lead a group that works holistically on software enabled capabilities, from design to sustainment.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver a multi-year software roadmap across multiple teams and products.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to accelerate capability delivery.
Oversee architecture selection and design for robotic systems, compute, storage and networks.
Guide development of a company-wide software roadmap for autonomous systems inputs.
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering group (10–24) and mentor engineers/managers.
Engage with executives to align software strategy with business goals.
Drive development processes and end-to-end testing for software delivery.
Budget stewardship and risk management for the group.
Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and teams.
