oOh!media is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the EngEx team in Melbourne. You will build developer tooling, improve platform capabilities and drive production-ready solutions across AWS, OpenTelemetry and Datadog.

This hands-on role focuses on Go and TypeScript/Node.js, with a strong emphasis on scalable architectures, observability and cross-team collaboration. Hybrid work with four in-office days is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Golang, TypeScript and Node.js at a senior level.
• Experience with AWS and AWS CDK.
• CI/CD pipelines, test automation and IaC.
• Observability with OpenTelemetry and Datadog.
• Strong software design, architecture and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling, automation and platform capabilities to improve developer workflows.
• Support scalable system architecture with a focus on performance and security.
• Maintain and improve coding standards and engineering processes.
• Share knowledge through pairing, reviews, and documentation.
