Job summary

oOh!media is expanding its Technology team in North Sydney. We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer who will rotate across teams, balancing building, guiding and leading activities under mentorship.

You will work with Go, Node.js, AWS, and AI-powered tools to deliver real products and features in a supportive environment. You will contribute to debugging, testing and code reviews, while developing your technical capability and progressing through clear pathways.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent education/training.
• Foundations in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Python or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, databases and unit testing.
• Experience using AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT for coding, debugging and learning, with emphasis on testing and reviewing AI-generated code.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving tech environment.
