Job summary

Objective Corporation in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Information Intelligence team. This hands-on, full-stack role will design and build robust software while guiding architecture and mentoring others.

You will own complex features across the stack, collaborate with product managers and designers, and help scale SaaS products using Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial SaaS software engineering experience.
• Advanced Java with Spring Boot expertise.
• Strong front-end with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful services and MySQL.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of major product features and core system architecture.
• Build scalable and performant applications across Java, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and work with MySQL databases.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn customer needs into technical solutions.
• Champion engineering best practices for testing, security and performance.
