Job summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer in Melbourne to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-performing software using Java, React, Next.js, and AWS.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, React.js, Next.js expertise, and hands-on AWS deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise with Java, Spring Boot, React.js and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience with Next.js including SSR/SSG, API routes, and routing.
• Cloud experience with AWS and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable full-stack web applications using Java, React, Next.js, and AWS.
• Build backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement SSR/SSG, routing, and API integration with Next.js.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS with CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, documented code and maintain unit/integration tests.
• Contribute to system architecture and ongoing improvements.
