Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Software Engineer in Australia to join Impact Engineering. You will design and develop scalable software across the stack, partnering with product managers to own features end-to-end and build intuitive experiences with modern frontend frameworks.

The role emphasises automated testing, CI/CD, and strong problem-solving to improve performance and reliability. Australian citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience applying critical thinking to AI-enabled workflows.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets or model outputs.
• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with development tools on Unix-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reliable software across the stack.
• Partner with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions and own features end-to-end.
• Build intuitive experiences using React, Angular, or Vue.
• Design and deliver new products and features while enhancing existing capabilities.
• Embed automated testing and quality practices across testing types.
• Participate in design and code reviews, promoting engineering best practices.
