Job summary

ServiceNow in Canberra is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, implement and own features across the stack. You’ll collaborate with product managers, deliver scalable UI and backend components, and champion reliable, testable code in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering delivering high-quality products.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar OO languages.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with modern development tools, including IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control and Unix-based systems.
• A demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking when using AI to improve workflows, decision-making and problem-solving.
